3 c packed fresh basil
2/3 c virgin olive oil
1/2 c pine nuts toasted until golden and cooled
2/3 c grated Parmesan cheese
2-3 garlic cloves minced
In a blender combine basil and 2 T olive oil blend to a paste. Add remaining ingredients and pulse until smooth. Add salt and pepper to desired taste.
Spread on a french baguette. If desired combine balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil for dipping.
