Cranberry Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
- cream cheese, softened - 8 ounces
- blue cheese - 3/4 cup
- dried cranberries, chopped - 3/4 cup
- pecans - 1 1/2 cups
- pretzel sticks, opitional -
Instructions:
In a bowl mix together cream cheese, blue cheese and cranberries until smooth. Place in refrigerator for a few minutes to chill and take the stickiness away, roll into approx. walnut size balls. Cover and place in refrigerator for 2 hours to firm.
Toast pecans in a preheated 350 degree oven for 7 - 10 minutes; then chop. Roll cheese balls in the pecans, pressing the pecans in slightly. Store in refrigerator. JUST before serving if desired place a pretzel stick in each cheese ball. Yields 24.
