1 pound pork sausage
8 ounces cream cheese
2 packages crescent rolls
salt and black pepper (to desired taste)
In a skillet, brown sausage; drain. Add salt and pepper, blend in cream cheese until is melted.
Unroll one package of crescent rolls and place on greased baking sheet. Gently press the seams together to seal them. Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough, leaving about a 1/2 inch border around the edges.
Unroll remaining package of crescent rolls and place on top of sausage mixture. Press top and bottom edges together to seal. Gently press the seams together.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, until crescent dough is golden brown.
Cut into small squares and serve.
