Crescent Twists
Ingredients:
- sugar - 2 T
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- crescent rolls - 1 - 8 ounce can
- butter, melted - 3 T
Instructions:
Unroll crescent dough, lay down as 4 rectangles on a greased cookie sheet, press triangles together to form rectangles.
In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
Spread melted butter over 2 of the rectangles, sprinkle a little less than half the cinnamon/sugar mixture over the rectangles.
Take the two non-buttered rectangles and place on top of buttered and cinnamon/sugar rectangles. Press edges together.
With a pizza cutter, cut both triangles into 6 strips, top with any reserve melted butter. Twist each strip a few times, place on a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon and sugar over twists.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes
