2 c flour
1 T baking powder
1/2 t salt
1/3 c cold butter
3/4 c buttermilk
In a bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt; cut in butter.
Stir in buttermilk, until mixture forms a ball shape. On a lightly-floured surface knead dough until a workable dough forms. Press or roll dough to 3/4 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter into 12 biscuits.
Place on ungreased baking pan and bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
Serve hot with honey butter.
