Eggnog French Toast
Ingredients:
- eggnog - 1 1/2 cups
- eggs - 5 large
- ground nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- rum extract - 1/2 tsp
- Texas toast OR Challah bread - 12 slices
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together eggnog, eggs, nutmeg and rum extract until very well blended. Pour mixture into a shallow dish, dip bread into mixture, flip bread and coat second side. Cook on a preheated 350 degree buttered griddle, until bottom is golden brown, flip bread, cook second side until golden.
Serve warm with maple syrup and sweetened whipped cream.
