German Waffles
Ingredients:
- butter - 1/2 cup
- sugar - 3/8 cup
- vanilla extract - 1/2 t
- eggs - 2
- flour - 1 cup
- baking powder - 2 t
- water - 3/4 - 1 cup
Instructions:
In a bowl cream together butter, sugar and vanilla, mix in eggs. Stir in flour, baking powder, stir water in a little at a time until you have a more liquidy dough, but still a bit doughy. Preheat your waffle iron, if necessry oil waffle iron, let dough rest until iron is hot. Ladle batter onto the iron. Close lid, cook until crisp. Remove, dust with powdered sugar.
