4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 T powdered sugar
1/2 t ground cinnamon
1/2 t vanilla extract
1 c sliced fresh peaches
Filling – in a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract, until smooth. Spread filling on slices of bread; top with peach slices. Makes 2 French toast sandwiches.
4 slices French bread
4 large eggs
1/2 c milk
1 t vanilla extract
1/2 t ground cinnamon
In shallow pan plate, beat eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip sandwiches in the egg mixture, on each side.
Heat a griddle to medium-high heat, cook sandwiches, on both sides, until golden brown, 4-5 minutes each side. (If desired melt a little butter on the griddle before placing the sandwich on the griddle.)
Serve warm with diced peaches and maple syrup.
