Maraschino Cherry Frosting
Ingredients:
- butter, room temperature - 1 cup
- powdered sugar - 2 pounds
- juice from maraschino cherry jar - 6 T or more if needed
- almond extract - 1 tsp
Instructions:
In a bowl, beat butter until completely smooth and fluffy. Gradually beat in two cup powdered sugar.
Beat in cherry juice and almond extract until completely combined. Gradually beat in remaining powdered sugar, one cup at a time.
If frosting is too thick, beat in additional maraschino cherry juice 1 tsp at a time.
Perfect on cupcakes, cookies, cake, spread between two graham crackers, etc
