Banana Poke Cake
Ingredients:
- yellow cake mix plus ingredients listed on box - 1 box
- instant banana pudding - 2 - 3.4 boxes
- milk - 4 cups
- cool whip, thawed - 8 ounce container
- vanilla wafers, crushed - 20
Instructions:
Prepare cake per directions on box in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Remove cake from oven, with the handle of a wooden spoon poke holes over entire top of cake.
In a bowl whisk together pudding and milk, carefully pour pudding over entire cake filling the holes. Place in refrigerator for 2 hours or more to completely chill. Spread cool whip over top. Before serving sprinkle top with wafer crumbs, garnish with banana slices. Store in refrigerator.
