1 box fudge brownie mix plus ingredients listed on box
1/2 c chopped pecans
Make brownies as directed on box; stir in pecans.
Pour batter into a greased 13×9 inch pan.
Bake as directed on box. Cool 1 hour
1/2 c whipping cream
6 T butter
1 1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c chopped pecans, toasted
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
In a saucepan, mix cream, butter and brown sugar; heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring frequently. Boil and stir 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in remaining ingredients. Cool 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Spread frosting over brownies. Let sit for 45 minutes and cut into bars.
(If you let the frosting cool completely, the praline will break up.)
