Caramel Sour Cream Cake
Ingredients:
- white cake mix plus ingredients listed on box - 1 box
- sour cream - 1/2 cup
- caramel ice cream topping - 12 ounce jar
- white frosting - 16 ounce container
- Kosher salt - for sprinkling
Instructions:
Prepare cake per package directions, stir in sour cream. Pour batter into a parchment paper lined 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake per package directions.
Let cake cool, with a fork poke holes over top of cake. Spread half of the caramel over the cake, let set for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix together frosting and remaining caramel. Spread evenly over cake. Sprinkle salt over frosting. Serve
