Cinnamon Bun Cake
1/2 cup butter, melted
Topping:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Glaze:
2 cups icing sugar
5 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Ingredients:
- flour - 3 c
- salt - 1/4 t
- sugar - 1 c
- baking powder - 4 t
- milk - 1 1/2 c
- eggs - 2
- vanilla extract - 2 t
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- butter, softened - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- flour - 2 T
- cinnamon - 1 T
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- milk - 5 T
- vanilla - 1 t
Instructions:
In a bowl mix together flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in butter; pour into a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Prepare topping -
In a bowl mix together butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Drop by teaspoonful over the entire base. With a knife, swirl the topping into the base. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 28 - 30 minutes. Prepare glaze while cake is baking -
In a bowl combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla; set aside. When cake is done spread glaze over the warm cake.
