1 c coconut
1 c chopped nuts
1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients on box
8 ounces cream cheese, soft
1/2 c butter soft
1 t vanilla
2 c powdered sugar
3/4 c chocolate chips
Grease a 9×13 inch pan. Sprinkle nuts and coconut on bottom of pan. Make cake as directed on box. Pour over nuts and coconut.
In a bowl, on low speed beat the cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla until well blended. Mixture will be thick. Drop by spoonfuls over the chocolate cake batter, leave a 1 inch margin around the sides of the pan.
With a butter knife carefully swirl mixture through the batter, don’t disturb the nuts and coconut. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes
