Brownie Batter Truffles
Ingredients:
- unsweetened cocoa powder - 3/8 cup
- sugar - 1/2 cup
- light brown sugar - 1/4 cup
- salt - dash
- flour - 3/8 cup
- vanilla extract - 1 t
- unsalted butter, melted - 6 T
- semi-sweet chocolate or vanilla chips - 4 ounces
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, sugars, salt and flour. Stir butter and vanilla together, add to dry ingredients, stir until it comes together and forms a dough. Cover, place in refrigerator for 1 hour, until set.
Take 1 T of dough and roll into balls, place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Place in refrigerator.
Melt chocolate, roll each batter ball in it, place back on the cookie sheet. Place in refrigerator until chocolate is set. Another option -- omit chips and roll batter balls in cocoa powder, nuts, coconut, sprinkles or powdered sugar. Store truffles in a covered container in the refrigerator.
