Butterfinger Bars
Ingredients:
- candy corn - 8 ounces
- peanut butter - 1 1/2 cups
- corn flakes OR frosted flakes, crushed - 1 cup
- milk chocolate OR dark chocolate melting wafers - 10 ounces
Instructions:
Melt candy corn in the microwave for 1 minute, stir. Return for 30 seconds stir again continue to microwave until candy corn is completely melted. Immediately stir in peanut butterand cereal, thoroughly combined. If candy corn hardens, microwave for 30 seconds, stir to mix. Pour mixture into a 8 x 8 inch pan lined with parchment paper, press evenly distribute. Place in freezer for 10 - 15 minutes until it hardens.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler, until chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Remove candy corn mixture from freezer. Cut into bars to desired size. Dip butterfinger in melted chocolate coating both sides. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Place bars in refrigerator to set. Remove, store at room temperature in a airtight container.
