Cherry Mash Bars
Ingredients:
- sugar - 1 cup
- butter OR margarine - 2 T
- salt - 1/4 t
- half and half OR evaporated milk - 1/3 cup
- miniature marshmallows - 1 cup
- cherry chips - 1 cup
- chocolate chips - 1 cup
- peanut butter - 1/2 cup
- salted peanuts - 1 cup
Instructions:
In a saucepan combine margarine, salt and half and half, boil on high heat for 5 minutes, stir occasionally. Stir in marshmallows and cherry chips until melted. Spread in a parchment lined 8 or 9 inch square pan. In a saucepan over low heat melt chocolate and peanut butter, stir occasionally, stir in peanuts. Evenly spread over cherry layer. Place in refrigerator until set. Cut with a warm sharp knife cut into 1 inch squares. Store in a airtight container.
