Saltine Toffee
Ingredients:
- saltine crackers - 40
- butter - 1 cup
- sugar - 3/4 cup
- chopped pecans - 1 cup
- milk chocolate chips - 12 ounces
Instructions:
Place crackers in a 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking sheet; set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium high heat. Add sugar, bring to a rolling boil, stir constantly. Pour over crackers, sprinkle pecans over top.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for about 13 - 15 minutes, until crackers are browned and caramelized.
Remove from oven, remove each cracker place on a sheet of parchment paper. Melt chocolate chips, generously spread chocolate over each cracker. Allow chocolate to set; store in airtight container.
