Frozen Coleslaw
Ingredients:
- cabbage, shredded - 1 medium head
- salt - 1 t
- vinegar - 1 cup
- water - 1/4 cup
- sugar - 2 cups
- celery seed - 1 t
- mustard seed - 1 t
- grated carrots (opitional) - 1 cup
Instructions:
Sprinkle salt over cabbage, stir and let sit for 1 hour. Squeeze out excess moisture, add carrots.
In a saucepan combine vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed bring to a boil, boil for 1 minute. Let cool to lukewarm and pour over cabbage, stir. Put in containers and freeze.
