Biscuits & Gravy Casserole
Ingredients:
- sausage cooked - 1 pound
- sausage flavor country gravy mix - 2.64 ounce package
- shredded cheddar cheese - 1 c
- eggs - 3
- milk - 1/2 c
- heavy cream - 1 pint
- salt and pepper - to desired taste
- minced onion - 1 t
- refrigerated butter flavored biscuits - 16.3 ounce can
- bacon, cooked and crumbled - 8 slices
Instructions:
Cut biscuits into 1 inch pieces and place in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Place cooked sausage over biscuits, evenly sprinkle cheese over sausage. In a bowl whisk together eggs, milk and cream and pour over the cheese. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and minced onion. Prepare gravy mix per package directions, spoon mixture over ingredients in pan. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
Bake uncovered in a preheated 350 degree oven for 65 minutes. Before serving garnished with crumbled bacon.
