Mexican Lasagna
Ingredients:
- lasagna noodles, cooked, drained - 15
- ground beef, cooked, drained - 1 pound
- taco seasoning - 1 package
- ranch style beans - 15 ounce can
- tomato sauce - 8 ounce can
- diced tomatoes with green chilies - 14.5 ounce can
- taco sauce - 8 ounces
- black olives, opitional - to desired taste
- chopped onion, opitional - to desired taste
- shredded cheese - to desired taste
- chopped tomato, opitional - to desired taste
Instructions:
Add taco seasoning to cooked beef as per directions on package. Add beans, tomato sauce and 1/2 the can of tomatoes, simmer 5 - 10 minutes.
Grease a casserole dish, place 5 lasagna noodles in casserole dish, 1/2 the meat mixture, top with cheese. Repeat with noodles, meat mixture, cheese and noodles. Pour taco sauce over the dish. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
Remove dish from oven, top with olives, onions, 1/2 can of tomatoes, chopped tomatoes and cheese. Return to oven, bake until cheese is melted.
