Quick Chicken Casserole
Ingredients:
- cream of chicken soup OR cream of celery - 1 can
- milk - 1/2 cup
- cooked chicken, cubed - 3 cups
- frozen mixed vegetables - 1 1/2 cups
- mushrooms, stems, pieces - 1 can
- crushed cornflakes - 1 1/2 cups
- butter - 2 T
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine soup, milk, pepper, stir in chicken, vegetables and mushrooms. Pour into a greased 2 quart casserole dish. In a bowl, combine cereal, butter and thyme. Evenly sprinkle over chicken mixture.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 - 40 minutes or until brown.
