Tuna and Noodles
Ingredients:
- egg noodles - 8 cups
- chunk tuna in water - 2 - 4.5 ounce cans
- onion, minced - 1/2 small
- red pepper, diced - 1
- green pepper, diced - 1/2
- celery, diced - 1 stalk
- butter - 4 T
- flour - 4 T
- warm milk - 3 cups
- salt and pepper - to desired taste
- crushed, Kettle Brand Salt and Pepper Chips - 1 1/2 - 2 cups
Instructions:
Cook noodles per package directions, drain. Drain tuna; set aside.
In a skillet, melt butter add onion, green pepper, red pepper, celery cook until tender.
Whisk in flour, cook for 1 minute. Whisk in milk until sauce is well combined. Cook over medium heat until sauce begins to thicken. Season sauce with salt and pepper.
Combine sauce, noodles and tuna, pour into a greased casserole dish. Top with crushed chips.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
