1 ½ c sugar
1 c sour cream
½ c butter, soft
2 eggs
1 ¾ c ripe bananas, mashed 3-4 bananas
2 t vanilla
2 c flour
1 t baking soda
¾ t salt
½ c chopped walnuts
In a bowl beat sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs until creamy. Blend in bananas and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and blend for one minute. Stir in nuts.
Spread in greased and floured 10×15 inch pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly; spread frosting on WARM bars.
If thicker bars are desired bake in a greased and floured 9×13 inch pan.
½ c butter
4 c powdered sugar
1 ½ t vanilla
3 T milk
In saucepan over medium heat butter until it is boiling and delicate brown. Remove from heat; immediately add remaining ingredients.
Will be thicker than a glaze and thinner than frosting. Spread frosting on WARM bars.
