1 1/2 c flour
2 t baking powder
1 t salt
1 c butter
5 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 c packed brown sugar
1 c sugar
5 eggs
2 t vanilla extract
In a bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
Melt chocolate and butter together, stir until smooth. Stir the sugars into the chocolate. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Gently stir in flour mixture, mixing just until combined.
Pour batter into greased 13×9 inch pan. Sprinkle pretzels over the brownies.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack.
4 ounces milk chocolate, melted
3/4 c roughly chopped thin pretzels
14 caramels
2 T heavy cream
Drizzle chocolate evenly over the pretzels.
Combine caramels and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth, drizzle over brownies.
Wait at least an hour before cutting.
