1 cup margarine
1 3/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 can cherry or blueberry pie filling
Cream margarine, add sugar and beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, add vanilla. Mix well.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Reserve 1 1/2 cups of batter and spread the remaining batter into a greased 11 x 16 inch pan.
Spread pie filling within 1 inch of edge. Spoon rest of batter on top of pie filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Drizzle with frosting.
