Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars
Ingredients:
- refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, divided - 30 ounce package
- cream cheese, softened - 8 ounces
- sugar - 1/2 cup
- egg - 1
- vanilla - 1/2 t
Instructions:
Line a 9 × 9 inch baking pan with nonstick foil, press half of the cookie dough in pan.
Prepare cheese cake filling -- in a bowl beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla, pour over cookie dough. Flatten the rest of the cookie dough, place on top of filling. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until cheesecake layer is set. (If needed cover bars with foil if they brown too much.)
Cool to room temperature. Place in refrigerator until cold before cutting. Garnish with chocolate syrup drizzled over top.
