Grandma's soft sugar cookies
Ingredients:
- Butter - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 3/4 cup
- Egg Yolks - 4
- Eggs - 2
- Vanilla - 1 tsp
- Baking Soda - 1 tsp (in small amount of water)
- half and half - 1 cup
- Flour - 4 cups
- Baking Powder - 2 tsp
Instructions:
Mix and chill in refrigerator. (Dough will be soft)
Working with small amount of dough at a time, put on floured bread board and knead until stiff enough to roll. Don't use anymore flour then you have to.
Place on greased cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
