Puff Pastry Wheels
Ingredients:
- puff pastry, thawed - 1 pound
- sugar - 1/2 cup
- butter, melted - 1/8 cup
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
Instructions:
Place puff pastry on lightly floured work surface. Dust pastry with flour and roll pastry into a rectangle about an 1/8 inch thick. Brush pastry with the butter, evenly sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over pastry.
Roll pastry into a log starting with the long edge of the rectangle. Cut pastry into 1 inch pieces, place cut side down on parchment paper lined baking sheets .
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 - 15 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown. Flip pastry wheels over, bake for another 10 - 15 minutes or until both sides are crisp and golden brown.
Cool before serving.
