Bread Pudding with Snickers
Ingredients:
- milk - 1 quart
- whole eggs, beaten - 6
- egg yolks, beaten - 3
- sugar - 6 ounces
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- thick french toast slices - 10
- Snickers Candy Bars, diced 3/4 inch - 12 ounces
- butter, melted - 3 ounces
Instructions:
Prepare custard, in a bowl whisk together milk, eggs, yolks, sugar and vanilla; mix well.
Cut French toast in 1 inch cubes, drizzle with butter; toast in oven.
Combine custard, French toast & Snickers, fill buttered muffin pans. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven, in a water bath for 45 minutes or until custard is set. Cool for 1 hour, serve warm or at room temperature.
