Caramel Oreo Icebox Dessert
Ingredients:
- cream cheese, softened - 8 ounces
- caramel ice cream topping - 1/2 cup
- coarse sea salt - 1/2 tsp to desired taste
- Oreo cookies - 32
- strong brewed coffee, cooled - 6 ounces
- Cool Whip, thawed, divided - 2 cups
- caramel & chocolate syrup - garnish
- sea salt - garnish if desired
Instructions:
In a bowl, stir together 1/2 cup caramel topping and 1/2 tsp sea salt. Add cream cheese, beat until creamy. Fold in 2 cups Cool Whip.
Dip 16 Oreo's in the coffee place in the bottom of an 8 x 8 inch pan. Spread half the caramel cheese mixture over the Oreo cookies.
Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies and caramel cheese mixture.
Spread 1 cup Cool Whip over the top. Place in refrigerator until set.
Spread remaining Cool Whip over top, drizzle caramel and chocolate syrups over top, sprinkle sea salt over top.
Store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator
