4 ounces cream cheese, soft
1/2 c sugar
1/2 t vanilla extract
1 package of crescent rolls
1 can apple pie filling or other flavor of choice
1/4 c butter, melted
1/2 c cinnamon
1 T sugar
In a bowl blend together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Mix cinnamon and sugar together, set aside.
Grease a 8×8 inch pan. Place 1/2 of crescent rolls in pan and pinch the seams together. Spread the cream cheese mixture on the dough, spread apple pie filling on. Pinch the rest of the rolls together and place on top; pour butter on top.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until golden brown. Cool before cutting.
Fresh apples can be used; slice and stew them with butter for about 15-20 minutes until softened. Cool before preparing dessert.
