6 egg yolks
3 c heavy cream
1 t vanilla extract
½ c sugar
Place 8 creme brulee dishes in a large baking pan with sides. Set aside.
Place all ingredients in blender and blend well. Pour into 8 creme brulee dishes. Pour hot water in the baking pan until the water reaches half way up the sides of the brulee dishes.
Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.
Place dishes on a wire rack and cool. Cover individual dishes. Place in refrigerate, chill for 2 – 3 hours or overnight.
Before serving set oven to broil. Sprinkle 1/4 t sugar on each dish. Broil for 1-2 minutes till sugar browns.
Serve. Garnish with fresh fruit if desired.
