Margarita Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- lime juice - 1/2 cup
- tequila - 2 T
- triple sec - 3 T
- powdered sugar - 1 1/4 cups
- heavy cream - 2 cups
Instructions:
In a bowl combine lime juice, tequila and triple sec, stir in sugar to dissolve. Add cream and softly whip until thick and smooth BUT NOT stiff. Spoon into a container, cover, place in freezer overnight. To serve dip wet rim of serving dish or glass in a mixture of sugar and kosher salt, place scoops of ice cream in dish. Garnish with lime zest.
