No Bake Mocha Dessert
Ingredients:
- water - 1/4 cup
- instant coffee - 2 t
- Oreos - 20
- butter, softened - 2 T
- cream cheese, softened - 8 ounces
- powdered sugar - 1/4 cup
- Cool Whip, thawed, divided - 8 ounce container
- instant chocolate pudding - 3.8 ounce box
- milk - 1 cup
- sliced almonds - 1/3 cup
- hot fudge ice cream topping, warmed - 2 T
Instructions:
Mix together water and coffee; let sit for a few minutes to dissolve.
Prepare the crust -- crush Oreos into coarse crumbs. Place crumbs in a bowl and stir in butter. Press mixture into a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Crust will be chunky and loose.
Prepare filling -- In a bowl beat cream cheese until smooth, whisk in powdered sugar and coffee. Stir in one cup cool whip. Carefully spread mixture over crust. Whisk together pudding mix and milk until smooth. Let pudding set up, spread over cream cheese layer. Spread remaining Cool Whip over the top.
Cover and place in refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, drizzle warm hot fudge over top, sprinkle with almonds.
