Pistachio Cream Bars
Ingredients:
- flour - 2 cups
- sugar - 1/3 cup
- butter, softened - 1 cup
- cream cheese, softened - 8 ounce package
- powdered sugar - 1 cup
- Pistachio instant pudding mix - 1 box
- milk - 3/4 cup
- pistachios, roughly chopped - 1/4 cup
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine flour and sugar, beat in the butter on medium speed until completely blended. Place mixture in a 13 x 9 inch pan; press down to make the crust. Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 30 - 35 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove, cool.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar, beat on medium speed until blended. Add milk and pudding mix, continue mixing until fully combined. Evenly spread pudding mixture over crust. Sprinkle nuts over top. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour or until set. Slice and serve.
