Raspberry Filled Wontons
Ingredients:
- wonton wrappers - 48
- cream cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes - 8 ounces
- raspeberry preserves - 1 cup
- oil - for frying
- powdered sugar - for dusting
Instructions:
Separate wonton wrappers. Place ½ tsp jam and one cube of cream cheese in the center of each wonton. Moisten edges of wrapper with water. Bring all corners together to cover filling, to form a packet. Press edges together to completely seal.
In a pan, heat 1 inch oil, over medium heat. Add wontons, fry for 2 - 3 minutes or until golden and crisp.
Remove from pan, drain on paper towels. Lightly dust with powdered sugar
