Roasted Apples
Ingredients:
- apples, peeled, cut into 1 inch chunks - 2 pounds ( 4 large)
- cinnamon stick - 1 - 3 inch stick
- vanilla bean - 1/2
- dark brown sugar - 1 - 2 T
- butter - 2 T
Instructions:
In a roasting pan, combine apples, cinnamon, vanilla bean and brown sugar. Dot apples with small pieces of butter.
Roast in a preheated 450 degree oven for 50 - 60 minutes, stirring every 15 - 20 minutes until apples are cooked through and golden around the edges.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
