1 lb 5 oz pouch sugar cookie mix
1 egg
1/2 c butter, soft
In a bowl combine ingredients, until a dough forms. Press dough into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15 – 20 minutes until light golden brown. Cool completely. Prepare filling —
1 c white chips, melted
8 ounces cream cheese
In a bowl beat cream cheese until smooth, stir in chips. Spread evenly over crust. Place in refrigerator while preparing topping.
3 c sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 c sugar
2 T cornstarch
1/3 c water
In a bowl crush 1 c strawberries, place in saucepan with sugar, cornstarch and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat, cool for 10 minutes, gently stir in remaining strawberries, spoon evenly over cream cheese mixture. Cover and place in refrigerator for 1 hour or until set.
