Strawberry Cream Cheese Dessert
Ingredients:
- strawberries - 2 pounds
- graham crackers - 2 sleeves
- cream cheese, room temperature - 8 ounces
- sweetened condensed milk - 14 ounce can
- instant cheesecake flavored pudding - 2 - 3.4 ounce packages
- milk - 3 cups
- Cool Whip, thawed, divided - 12 ounce carton
Instructions:
Clean and slice strawberries (about 1/4 inch thick); set aside.
Line bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with graham crackers; set aside.
In a bowl combine cream cheese and condensed milk, beat until smooth and creamy. Add dry pudding and milk, continue mixing on low for 4 - 5 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken. Fold in 2 c Cool Whip until smooth.
Carefully spread half of cream cheese mixture over graham crackers. Place a single layer of strawberry slices over cream cheese mixture, a layer of graham crackers then cover with remaining cream cheese mixture. Top with another layer of strawberries. Cover and place in refrigerator for 6 - 8 hours.
Before serving top with remaining cool whip and sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over cool whip.
