Turtle Praline Tart
Ingredients:
- refrigerated pastry pie dough - 1 sheet
- caramels - 36
- whipping cream, divided - 1 cup
- pecan halves - 3 1/2 cups
- semi sweet chocolate chips - 1/2 cup
Instructions:
Unroll pastry and place in a 11 inch fluted tart pan with removable bottom, trim edges. Line shell with a double thickness of foil, bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 8 minutes, remove foil and bake 5 - 6 minutes until golden brown, remove and cool on wire rack.
In a saucepan over medium low heat, melt caramels and 1/2 c cream, stir in pecans. Spread evenly over crust. Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over top. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes, until set. Whip remaining cream and serve with tart.
