Turtle Sundae Bread Pudding
Ingredients:
- French bread, cut in cubes - 8 cups
- semisweet chocolate chips - 1 cup
- caramel bits - 1/2 cup
- chopped pecans - 1/2 cup
- sugar - 1 cup
- brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/3 cup
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4
- strong brewed coffee - 1/2 cup
- half & half - 1 cup
- milk - 1/2 cup
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
Instructions:
Place bread cubes into a lightly greased 3½ - 4 quart crockpot. Sprinkle chocolate chips, caramel bits and chopped pecans over bread cubes.
In a bowl, mix together sugar, brown sugar and cocoa powder. Mix in eggs, vanilla, coffee, half & half and milk; until completely blended. Slowly pour mixture over bread. Carefully stir until most of the liquid has been absorbed.
Cook on low for 3 - 4 hours or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream, drizzle chocolate syrup, caramel syrup over top, garnish with chopped pecans.
