Baked Doughnuts
Ingredients:
- flour - 3 1/2 cups
- sugar - 1 cup
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- buttermilk, room temperature - 1 1/4 cups
- eggs, room temperature - 3 large
- honey - 1 T
- butter, melted - 1/2 cup
- butter - 1 T
- semi sweet chocolate, chopped - 6 ounces
- butter - 1 T
- unsweetened coconut, toasted - 1/2 cup for topping
- chopped nuts - for topping
Instructions:

Place pan on the center oven rack, in a preheated 400 degree oven for 5 - 6 minutes for minis, or 10 - 11 minutes for regular doughnuts or until golden around the edges. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes, remove doughnuts from pans, place on rack to cool completely.
Melt chocolate and 1 T butter together; stir until smooth. Dip the doughnut tops in the hot chocolate, sprinkle toasted coconut, chopped nuts or sprinkles over the top.
