1 1/3 c flour
1 c Rice Krispies cereal
2 T plus 1/2 c sugar, divided
1 T baking powder
1/2 t salt
1/4 c butter-flavored Crisco
1/2 c milk
1 t ground cinnamon
1/4 c butter, melted
In a bowl mix flour, cereal, 2 T sugar, baking powder and salt. With pastry blender cut in Crisco until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk, stir just until moistened.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls. In a bowl mix cinnamon and 1/2 c sugar. Roll balls into melted butter and then into cinnamon sugar mixture.
Place balls in a greased 9 inch round pan.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15-18 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for a short time, remove and place on wire rack.
