Grilled Herb Shrimp
Ingredients:
- paprika - 2 t
- fresh minced garlic - 2 T
- Italian seasoning - 2 t
- fresh lemon juice - 2 T
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- black pepper - 1/2 t
- dried basil leaves - 2 t
- brown sugar, packed - 2 T
Instructions:
In a bowl thoroughly whisk all ingredients together. Stir in 2 pounds large shrimp, (peeled and deveined); toss to evenly coat with marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours, turning once.
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil grill grate; place about 4 inches from heat source. Remove shrimp from marinade, drain excess, and discard marinade. Place shrimp on grill and cook, turning once, until opaque in the center, 5 to 6 minutes. Serve immediately.
