Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Ranch Chicken
Ingredients:
- mostaccioli pasta - 1 pound
- bacon, cooked crisp, diced - 6 strips
- butter - 1 T
- boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into bite size pieces - 2
- flour - 2 T
- ranch dressing mix - 1 packet
- milk - 2 cups
- shredded cheddar cheese - 1 cup
- salt and pepper - to desired taste
Instructions:
Cook pasta per package directions, drain, return to pan, keep warm.
Cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels; dice. Salt and pepper chicken, place in skillet with 1 T bacon drippings and butter. Cook until tender and slightly browned.
Sprinkle flour and dressing mix over the chicken, stir to coat evenly. Stir in the milk, cook, stir occasionally, until thickened. Stir in cheese and half of the bacon, cook and stir until cheese is melted. Season to desired taste with salt and pepper. Add cheese mixture to pasta, stir to combine.
Place pasta on serving plate, sprinkle bacon over top.
