Meatball Biscuits
Ingredients:
- refrigerated buttermilk or flaky biscuits - 12 ounce can
- frozen cooked Italian-style meatballs, thawed, each cut in half - 10
- string cheese, each cut into 10 pieces - 2 sticks (1 oz each)
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 T
- Italian seasoning - 1/2 t
- garlic powder - 1/4 t
- marinara sauce, heated - 1 c
Instructions:
Separate dough into 10 biscuits, separate each biscuit into 2 layers. Flatten each biscuit into 3 inch round. Place 1 meatball half, cut side up, a piece of cheese in center of each dough. Wrap dough around meatball and cheese, press edges to seal. Place seam side down in single layer in a 9 inch round baking pan. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder over top of biscuits.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown and biscuits are baked through. Serve warm with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
