1 box jumbo shells
Cook shells according to package direction. Reserve 1/3 c pasta cooking water, drain rest and set aside.
1 lb ground beef
Cook beef, drain and return to the pan.
garlic salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning to taste
1/3 c reserved pasta cooking water
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 c mozzarella cheese
Stir in seasonings, reserved pasta cooking water, cheese, egg and cheese.
16 ounce marinara sauce
Spoon a thin layer of marinara sauce into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Spoon beef mixture into the cooked shells until full, then lay in the dish. (If making ahead of time, cover dish with foil and place in refrigerator.) Before baking, spoon remaining marinara sauce over shells, and sprinkle 1 c mozzarella cheese over top.
Loosely cover with foil, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until sauce is bubbling and cheese melted. Remove foil and broil until cheese is golden brown.
