Crock Pot Salisbury Steak
Ingredients:
- lean ground beef - 2 pounds
- dry onion soup mix - 1 ounce envelope
- Italian seasoned bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- vegetable oil - 2 T
- condensed cream of chicken soup - 2 - 10.75 ounce cans
- dry au jus mix - 1 ounce packet
- water - 3/4 c
Instructions:
In a bowl mix together beef, onion soup, bread crumbs and milk, form into 8 patties. In a skillet heat oil, dredge patties in the flour and place in skillet to brown on both sides, remove and place in crock pot. (stack alternating) In a bowl mix together soup, au jus mix and water pour over the beef. Cook on low 4 - 5 hours.
If desired add sliced onions and mushrooms to crock pot.
