Glazed Pork Loin
Ingredients:
- boneless pork loin - 2 pounds
- ground sage - 1 t
- salt - 1/2 t
- pepper - 1/4 t
- garlic, crushed - 1 clove
- water - 1/2 cup
- brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- cornstarch - 1 T
- balsamic vinegar - 1/4 cup
- water - 1/2 cup
- soy sauce - 2 T
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine sage, salt, pepper and garlic; rub over entire roast. Place in slow cooker with 1/2 cup water. Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours. One hour before roast is done, prepare glaze -- in saucepan heat brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, 1/2 cup water and soy sauce; stir until mixture thickens. Brush roast with glaze 2 - 3 times during the last hour of cooking. Serve meat with remaining glaze on the side.
